If you’re like most people you hop right out of bed without giving much thought to it. Instead, consider taking just a few extra minutes to set the tone for your day by running
through the positive outcomes you want to experience in your mind. Run through the goals you’re currently working on.
In your mind play out a mental movie of yourself doing the steps, and accomplishing whatever is required of you to see things through. Fully experience the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment you’ll have as a result of achieving the things you’re currently working on.
Starting your day with a little visualization on the things you want in life can be a simple, yet highly effective way to ensure you stay plugged into and focused on what you want
to achieve. As Napoleon Hill, author of Think and Grow Rich said, “What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve”.
When you visualize don’t stress if you happen to be more auditory then visual. Just play your mental movie in whichever way it works best for you. The main point is that you’re giving thought to what you want to see come to fruition in your life as opposed to taking the route that most folks do and simply hoping things will work out.
Remember, the things we give our attention to get worked on, and the things we work on lead to a greater sense of accomplishment. The simple strategy outlined above is easy
to do, but it’s also easy not to do. The choice is yours!
