5 steps for feeling more accomplished at the end of the day

Josh Hinds - Speaker and authorNeedless to say, this is a big topic. That said, here are a few key things you can do that will go a long way towards ensuring your head hits the pillow each night with a greater sense of accomplishment.

1. Be intentional. Most people move through their daily lives without much more than a thought as to what they will do, much less what they hope to accomplish for the day. As a result, they hit their target (or lack thereof) with amazing accuracy.… Read the rest of the article

Always strive to do your best. Someone is always watching

Consider the following quote from my book

“When we set out to do the best we can do, it is inevitable that great opportunity finds us because we are doing what truly makes us happy. We’re in alignment and ready for the opportunities that life puts in our path.”

Fortunately, at a fairly young age it was instilled in me the importance of always giving my best to each and every task at hand. That said, I readily confess that I haven’t always followed that advice.… Read the rest of the article

The Importance of Running Your Race

Your Definition of Success Keeps you in Check and on Track

Josh Hinds - Speaker and authorWe can all agree that we live incredibly busy lives. There always seems to be something that is willing (and often more than able) to pull us off track. It is for this reason that we need to have a clearly defined (written down) definition of success. This is something I wrote about in greater detail in my book, It’s Your Life, LIVE BIG, but suffice it to say, the level at which you put this idea to work, will greatly determine how quickly, if at all, you are able to get back to, and working on the things you want to see show up in your life.… Read the rest of the article

How to visualize your BIG life starting now

Friend, to LIVE BIG, you have to know what it looks like for you. Visualizing your BIG life is one of the lessons included in my book. In short, visualizing can be done in various ways beyond the traditional minds eye picture. If you’re more auditory, repeat your “vision” out loud, or record it so you can play it back to yourself on a ongoing basis. You might also decide to keep a journal, and in it write out what you’re BIG life looks like in vivid detail.… Read the rest of the article

You are greater than any challenge you face

When you judge yourself, and how things appear to be going, you have to be careful to look at everything in its totality. It’s very easy to get caught up in whatever is happening immediately around you — especially if things seem to be negative, or less than ideal.

If you’re experiencing life challenges and a lot of change it is easy to mistakenly assume that more of it is going to show up. In other words, our current experiences tend to be the frame in which we see our current reality.… Read the rest of the article
