The Compounding Effect of Doing Good By Josh Hinds

Certainly you can recall a time where you stepped into a place or business and you just felt good about it. You just felt a little bit happier, people seemed to be a little bit more at ease. You were left with an overall positive experience.

Friend, more than likely this didn’t just happen by chance. In fact it probably came together as a result of somebody taking the time to create that experience. Consciously or unconsciously it’s very likely that somebody had set the tone for the positive experience you had.

Kindness is contagious…

I’ve seen it time and time again someone shares a kind word and the next thing you know the  beneficiary is passing that kindness on down the line to virtually everybody he or she comes into contact with. No doubt you can come up with a situation in your own life where you have seen  this to be true.

In a nutshell if you want more positive experiences in life develop the practice of planting those seeds. It’s not terribly difficult to do, it can be as simple as sharing a smile or word of encouragement. It starts with making the choice — and then having the resolve to work at it a little bit each day.

Good deeds do make their way back to us multiplied. Start planting now, and before ‘ya know it you’ll see it making its way back into your life many times over.

As you move through your daily routine keep the following quote in mind, “Life’s like a boomerang, the more good you throw out, the more it makes its way back to you.

Friend, starting today look for opportunities to throw your boomerang!

And remember…

It’s your life, LIVE BIG!
