Developing Your Abilities Is The Key By Josh Hinds

Contrary to popular opinion life’s rewards don’t always go to the person with the most “natural talent”, the best looking, or the lucky few. No matter what you may believe, the truth is everyone (yes, YOU included!) has a shot at getting ahead provided they are willing to do what is required of them in order to get to where they want to be.

The reason I can make this claim is because I have seen time and time again, where people from varying backgrounds, both with and without financial means, who have set out on a plan they deemed to be worthwhile, have moved forward on their given journey and seen it through to completion.

Without a doubt, one of the most important qualities you can develop is to adopt the belief that if one person is capable of something, then you are too — provided you’re willing to remain persistent, adjust and adapt as your particular plan requires, and of course learn whatever skills happen to be asked of you.

It’s less about things being easy, and more about your willingness to adapt and develop your GOD given talents to the best of your ability. If you’ll do that, you’ll inevitably amaze yourself at what you find that you’re capable of accomplishing.

My friend, life is a journey, but to fully see it, you must choose to experience it. Just because it’s dull or unfulfilling in your mind doesn’t make it so. The fact that others are living in the moment proves (whether you choose to accept it or not) that life can be lived fully, but it begins within us to make it so through our actions.

Action exercise:

Develop the habit of reading the “success stories” of other people. As you read through them pay special attention to the challenges and adversities which often show up. Look for similarities, notice how they, like you perhaps, both have challenges and adversities to work through. Take what you learn and use it as a source of strength as you move forward in the pursuit of your worthwhile endeavors.

Practice courage by trying. It’s less about getting it right all the time, and more about trying your dead-level best, because you will undoubtedly find that as you try your best, it’s more than enough to get you to where you want to be.

It’s your life, LIVE BIG!
